This may be a more general freertos problem, apologies if so.
During development I often make mistakes that end up with the stack trace getting printed etc and the esp32 rebooting. The problem is if the error is early in the code, then then it all happens again almost immediately, completely spamming my serial monitor with repeating boot then error messages.
So is there a setting to introduce a delay before reboot after kernel panic? or just halt and wait for manual reset? Obviously this wouldn't be desirable in production, but Id certainly appreciate it during development.
Thanks!
Delay/prevent reboot after fault?
Re: Delay/prevent reboot after fault?
menuconfig -> component config -> ESP32-specific -> panic handler behavior
Re: Delay/prevent reboot after fault?
That's perfect. Thanks!
