Communication between ESP32 on different subnets

Is it possible to establish a communication between two ESP32 having different subnets/ Gateways. Provided the routers are preconfigured??

Sure, they should communicate without any problem, just make sure there is no firewall/nat or anything else blocking/hiding ip or port
