ESP32-WROOM-32D Minimum Voltage

Dear All,

I'm pretty new with ESP32 design.
I'm using a ESP32-WROOM-32D and I'd like to know which is the minimum supply voltage.
The new datasheet (version 2.9) indicates a range between 3,0 and 3,6 Volt while an older version indicater a lower minimum voltage
(range from 2,7 and 3,6 Volt).
Can you tell me why has the range been restricted?

I need to use a system supplied by a battery and for me this information would be very important.

Hi Mattia,

This is related to current drawn by SPI flash on board of ESP32-WROOM-32D and voltage drop on internal series resistance. For description please see PCN-02-20190815, point 1 under "Reason for Change" as well as "Impact of Change", points 1 and 2.
