hi folks

a board was spotted in the wild, we get new name ( ESP32, CHIP7-2-2-B, ESP32S2 ) for the chip ( WIFI - ?????? )
an engineering sample name ? product name ?

This is probably technically possible. Depending on the exact USB device it may require some additional driver support which may or may not be supported in ESP-IDF.

Note that you can connect an ESP32 to a serial cellular interface right now, we have an example with support for the Quectel BG96 LTE module: https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... pos_client - and other modules which support PPP over Serial should be easy to integrate.
Thank you. I ported the PPP over Serial to EC20 and it was working perfectly.
Looking forward to seeing rndis driver support in ESP32-S :D
