ESP32 sleeping and bluetooth

Hi,

I use ESP equipped with external RTC. I would like to make ESP asleep and wake-up only by RTC alarms. But simultaneously I would like to use classic BT or BLE to communicate with ESP and deliver the alarm times. So ESP sleeping is not possible, or am I wrong? So I only think about sleeping of ESP for every 1-2 seconds and to sniff for BT between. Is it a good way?
