Bluetooth classic SPP port to Windows COM port

I have been uses the bt examples in the IDF: https://github.com/espressif/esp-idf/tr ... /bluetooth

Got several to work. can connect to them with my phone and pair with them in Windows. however, even if I manually add a comm port it will not connect to the SPP devices in Windows. How is this supposed to work? I would like a comm port in windows that my C# app can use to connect to the ESP32.

It's been about a year since I posted this. Does anyone know of a working example in Windows?
