Binutils fork for the ULP is now on Github: https://github.com/espressif/binutils-esp32ulp
Integration into the ESP-IDF build system didn't make it into v2.0, unfortunately.

Thanks ESP_igrr, I took a look at the link above, which is still beyond me - I don't know how this can help me on ulp programming, and how to do cross reference between ulp code and main CPU code, and how to stitch the binary code together. Maybe I have to wait until your officially integration/example is done.

So if we do like the example

Which produces an elf file
Then we need to use objcopy to convert to raw binary?
We can use component_embed_files to link it into the application
Copy it to rtc_slow_mem and call ulp_run?
