FWIW, we've been trying some workarounds and I'm pretty sure we can find a set of rules to make these problems go away, but the devs responsible (mostly me) have been doing other high-prio things as well. I'm hoping I can find time to finally finish this in the next few weeks.

Thanks for the update. Very helpful.

If/when you get a toolchain, please let us know. This is impacting us quite badly.

Hi,

Would you please describe issue into one or two lines like what will create impact while using ESP32 IDF 3.1 Release with PSRAM?

Is there any update on this? I'm using 4MB of PSRAM and both cores, and dare not release our product.

Espressif SDK Team,

Would you please look few queries raised by me and few developers? So that I and they can move further with PSRAM without any issue.

@ESP_Sprite Please can we have an update on this issue? I am delaying product release until 3.3 is out of beta, but also until there is some more info on this.

Yes. I finally got back to looking into this, but unfortunately no exact timeframe when I can give you guys a toolchain to test.

We're coming into 4 months after this bug was reported, but no movement on the GitHub issue.

This is a fundamental random memory corruption fault that is causing all sorts of issues. Can we get a resolution, or at least an update as to what is going on?
which IDF right now you are using?

How does that matter? It's a toolchain issue, not an esp-idf one.
