I search flat pcb antenna for ESP-32WROOM-32U

The description says that this antenna is for ESP-07 and ESP32-Wroover. I have not a Wrover, but a WROOM. The question is, will this antenna work on WROOM? And in general, how good is this option in terms of signal amplification? My ESP will be in a metal box and I have to take out the external antenna. Large dimensions of the antenna have nowhere to fit, therefore, it is inclined to the pcb antenna option. The bottom of the antenna will be glued to the metal case, does it affect the signal level?

I'd say yes; as far as I'm aware, you should be able to connect an antenna like this to all our modules with an IPEX connector.
