BLE Mesh on ESP32

Hi Espressif team,
Could I know which stable IDF(ESP BLE Mesh v0.5 Beta or ESP-IDF V3.1.3) I need to use for supporting BLE Mesh on ESP32?

ESP BLE Mesh v0.5 Beta, but its far from stable.

Is there any work being done to BLE Mesh? Will there be an update of BLE Mesh in the near future? Could you give a status report on the current state?

I have a project, a new product, that needs BLE Mesh. But if I can not have something workable in the near future, then I will need to use WiFi and hopefully move to BLE Mesh at a later date. Having to use WiFi and then switch would waste time that I would rather put into a mesh solution.
