MPU9250, good news:

Postby idahowalker » Thu Apr 04, 2019 5:47 pm

I wrote this code for the MPU9250. I been testing it for the last 4 days. It's been working wonderfully.
Thanks to Koolban, though he does need to update the SPI portion of his notes. Some names have been changed.

The testing unit takes the roll and pitch to maintain a X/Y platform on level. The calibration code, which I can post, rotates the X/Y/Z axis takes measurements, and sums them together for offset bias for the accelerometers, gyros, and magnetometer.

I, also, wrote the code for an LSM9DS1, which I will post when I am done with that project.
It is my understanding that if a magnetometer is mounted 180 degrees out of phase with another magnetometer, a self calibrating magnetometer can be realized. I am going to see if that's possible.

BTW. Feel free to use the code and modify it in any way you wish.
