Probably whatever script is showing you those calculations is not aware of your changes. Also you have to change both lines.

You gave me the link to the linker file "esp32.ld" where you also marked the two lines where the changes should take place.
I changed the lines accordingly and recompiled the project, but no change in IRAM size happens.

So I ask again: what is the right way to do this?
