ESP32 wroom and wrover reset pin sensitivity

Postby vaishnav1990 » Sat Feb 09, 2019 3:28 am

Hi

The wroom and wrover modules have a very sensitive reset pin, which results in a partial reset of the IC when the module is near a relay switching an inductive load. The internal WDT also fails in this event.

The main reason could be because there is no strong pull up resistor and bypass capacitor next to the reset pin of the ic.

I would like to know if esp32 has a internal provision for a reset pulse debounce / reset pin disable.

No, it does not. We suggest an external voltage monitor / reset chip in case you have issues with that.
