Flash usage for WiFi mesh

Hello All,

I'm interested in using the ESP32 for an iOT sensor project that involves reading several sensors over I2C and RS232, and transmitting them to a web interface over a WiFi mesh network.

I'm interested in imolementing the WiFi mesh network using the ESP32 but I'm concerned about how much if the flash is required? Also, what libraries are required to enable communications over TCP/IP and how much of the flash do they use? (I'm planning to use one of the modules with 4MB flash)

I'm a newcomer to this particular platform, so any insights are greatly helpful.
