OTA clarification

You dont need to copy bootloader, also i did not need to copy it. I only did it to add option that allows restart from factory partition instead from ota partition in case when GPIO level is during reboot (pin is setup in that copy of bootloader component).

As i understood if the ota partition is corrupted the board wont boot. I need it to boot to factory if that happens and i need to change the bootloader for it to be possible. Am i correct?

If for some reason happen that ota partition is corrupted then it should be detected by bootloader and bootloader should try to start next partition of type app. (You can wait that someone else confirm this, Angus or WiFive)

GPIO can be useful if you have flashed with ota correct partition image, but for some reason your application is broken and ie is causing loop reboot.
