i2c_master_stop: rc=263 Timeout

I have 4 i2c sensors communicating successfully. However, occasionally I will receive this error. It appears that the longer the app runs between re-boots, the more frequently the error occurs. This occurs with multiple ESP32 Dev boards (C). ESPIDF and toolchain all updated (as of today) but this error has been occurring consistently with previous library versions.
