Binding ZIGBEE

Postby Milena » Fri Feb 07, 2025 10:49 am

Hello, please tell me, is it possible to bind ZED to ZR directly without the participation of a coordinator (smart home hub). In the Zigbee SDK examples, the coordinator (switch) is only connected to the lamp is not suitable for me. The examples don't quite explain how it works. maybe someone has an example that I need? And does the Zigbee SDK support cluster binding IAS_ZONE_ZONETYPE_WATER_SENSOR

ZEDs are typically sleepy devices, they do not always stay awake to initiate binding. If using Z-Stack (TI Zigbee SDK), the binding is typically done through the zdoBindReq command.
