Program upload to ESP32 Wroom Board

I need my ESP32 Wroom Board to accept an upload of program ony if I press the reset buttom but my board is accepting an upload regardless of that. How can I fix that?

There is a logic circuit on devkits that uses the DTR & RTS signals from the uart adapter to put the board into programming mode and reboot it. If you break the lines to the transistor gates this circuit controls, then you will need to put the board into programming mode manually with gpio0 and reset.
The lines you need to cut are on pin1 of the two transistors (SOT-23-3) located near the uart and ldo units. Either desolder those pins, or use a razor to scrape away the traces there.
