Hi! I was wondering whether it is possible to select Ethernet as a transport after a Matter device has been commissioned. And if that is the case, how this should be achieved, since it seems ESP-IDF requires the selection of a transport upfront.
I would like to create a device that is commissioned using Thread and uses Ethernet (SPI W5500) for communication afterwards.
I have found the following GitHub thread (https://github.com/espressif/esp-matter/issues/271) which seems to state it is possible. The thread does however not clearly indicate how this should be achieved. Since the use case seems somewhat common, I thought maybe someone would be able to give me some guidance. An (official) example would be even better!
Matter with ESP32C6 and W5500
