Recently, compilation speed is not rising above 22% except for sporadic spikes to 50%. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this? This is the case irrespective if I compile in CLI or VSCode. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm on Ubuntu 24.10 x64, Ryzen 5500U, 8GB RAM, Samsung Evo 970 Plus NVME.
Slow Compilation Speed (<22% CPU Utilization)
Re: Slow Compilation Speed (<22% CPU Utilization)
It seems to be odd, maybe it ubuntu 24.10 <---.
I have Ryzen 1500 or 1600, i think, wiith ubuntu 20.04 and it can offload 100% CPU.
This screenshoot is from laptop ubuntu 24.04 and more or less is also utilizing CPU.
Both cases are VS code with platformio, also the same situation is when i am using esp-idf from CLI, but to be honest when i bought this laptop i expected it to be much faster than my old PC. There is not that much improvement from Ryzen to i7-14700.
