Run the ESP32 by holding the EN button

Postby iranarr » Tue Dec 28, 2021 6:32 pm

Hi everyone
I was using the esp32 without any problems

But after being off for a while, I turned on the device via USB cable to the computer
I noticed that the esp32 had trouble running
This is how the esp32 starts as long as I hold down the EN button
And when I release the button, the device has no function and stops
I can not even transfer the written program to the device normally

In general, to start the device, you must hold the en key
How can I solve this problem?
To work normally

Try adding an 10uF capacitor between the EN pin and ground.

The problem was not solved
I also added capacitor values
It still does not work after turning on the board

Hi, is there any updates to this issue?

I ran a program which initally the ESP32 was able to read the incoming continuous data via a smartphone bluetooth.

Then I must have done something (Cant remember) but now I cant read the incoming continuous data via smartphone bluetooth.

On top of this, when I disenabled bluetooth to check if data is incoming via teraterm no incoming continous data unless I hold down the EN button (Reset button) then the red led on the ESP32 flashes while incoming data is received. However, I cannot hook bluetooth in this method.

Any updates on this issues?
