I am brand new to this. I am a software developer but have never worked with electronics and hardware. I really want to jump into this. I just need some guidance please. I have watch many videos and have some answers. I am trying to create a USB with a microchip Controller Where a can save a code on like "AAA001". I have a esp32 and a female usb connector that I want to connect to the esp32. The ESP32 should have the same code as the USB i.e. "AAA001". When I insert the USB to the connector the esp32 should read the microchip from the usb and verify that the code on the usb is the same as the code on the esp32. If false then nothing else the relay that I have connected must open. I already got all the stuff I need. Just don't have any idea where to start or how to create this. I did look at the ATtiny85 microcontroller. If anyone can assist I would be very grateful.
