Problems compiling the Matter light sample project in WSL

Postby LeWeKa » Thu Aug 08, 2024 11:29 am

Unfortunately, I can't get the ESP Matter Light example to compile on my ESP32 C3 devkit. I followed the instructions to install ESP IDF and the Matter SDK. I have attached the terminal log of my last attempt at compiling the project. I recommend searching for "leon@GRAM" to find all my inputs.
The compiler error is the following:

Code: Select all

/home/leon/esp/esp-idf/components/lwip/lwip/src/core/init.c:241:2: error: #error "For LWIP_NETCONN_FULLDUPLEX to work, LWIP_NETCONN_SEM_PER_THREAD is required"
  241 | #error "For LWIP_NETCONN_FULLDUPLEX to work, LWIP_NETCONN_SEM_PER_THREAD is required"
I could not find the referenced symbols in idf.py menuconfig or anywhere else in the project, so i'm not certain how to resolve this.
Any help is appreciated.

System: Ubuntu 22.0.4 in WSL2
