external antenna for ESP-WROVER-B

Hi - is it possible to attach an external antenna to the ESP-WROVER-B module? I know -IB has the IPEX attachment, but is it possible to bypass PCB antenna on ESP-WROVER-B and use external antenna?

ESP32-WROVER-B comes with a PCB antenna. ESP32-WROVER-IB has an external antenna connector. You have to select the later version.
