ESP32-CAM Purchases

I’ve been geeking out over the ESP32 CAM board and I’ve got a few questions, I’d appreciate any insights:

Does anyone know if the folks at Espressif are the ones who actually manufacture the ESP32 CAM board? And if so, is there a way to buy directly from them?

With a lot of suppliers out there claiming to have the “original” ESP32 CAM board , does anyone have recommendations for suppliers that are legit and reliable?

I’m toying with the idea of designing my own ESP32 CAM board. Just wondering if it’s a feasible path.

not sure if it's the official website, but I couldn’t find any mention of the ESP32 on the website. They have a cam module called AiPi-CAM-D200! It doesn’t have an external WiFi port anymore, which is a must for me. Thanks

Ai-thinker is a well-known manufacturer. But from the pics of AiPi-CAM-D200, it looks like it may not fully match the specifications of ESP32-CAM.
