Version 5.2.1 - installation freezes

When I run the universal Windows installer for the new version 5.2.1, the installation process freezes. Please, see the file attached.

What should I do to install the version 5.2.1?

Hello Jorgen,

I have tested your issue on a machine with a clean Windows installation and it looks like there is some trouble with the Universal Windows installer, we will have to investigate a bit more.

To install ESP-IDF v5.2.1 you can use the Offline installer from the installer download page: https://dl.espressif.com/dl/esp-idf/

This should work fine.
