Hi,
This is my first time using an ESP32 and I bought a breakout/expansion board like in the picture below to help me with my projects.
My intention is to use it to control some servos, DC motors and an RF receiver/transmitter like this one:
I heard that you shouldn't power servos/motors from the ESP32 development board itself, which raised a few questions:
- Can I use the expansion board to power the motors? If so, which power input should I use? The board has two USB connectors and a power connector, and the esp32 development board has another USB.
- The operating voltage of the RF transmitter/receiver is 3.5~12V DC and I will have to use 5V on it. I'm worried about the esp32 gpio pin connected to it. Is it really a problem or am I overthinking it?
