How does the bin file control system work?

I'm pretty newbie. I'm working on a project and I've made some progress.

Currently I want to upload the firmware.bin file via ota. The question that comes to my mind is as follows: Does Esp32 check that my file is correct? For example, what happens if I try to upload the bin file from another system?
