why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
last time ,we meet the problem which the d2wd can't flash download well, the espressif said the tool has not yet support the newest verson d2wd, yet now we can be sucessful download the flash well in the chip, but the new problem came out, we found that the esp32 d2wd always reset by itself when we download the flash well and came to rum for nothing, maybe the morning it can be ok, but noon the program can not run well and reset ,reset ,reset...... When we set the d2wd in download mode it's well ok and not reset.
I can't guess how and why it will be that, so please help me see that, i post the picture which the print message on the screen, thx a lot!

Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
What power supply do you use to feed 3.3V to the ESP32?
Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
Does the power supply couse the problem? 3.3V should be worked well in the d2wd. This one was supplied 3.3V but i think it can be work,do you have any good suggestion? We use the ldo which can support 2.8V and capable 250ma output but it was also reset ,reset and reset. We last time use the d0wd ,use the same power supply but don't get this trouble.

Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
If anything, 250mA is on the low side... to be sure, you probably want to have a PSU that can deliver 500mA@3.3V, at least for short peaks (WiFi calibration, for example). If any, you may want to just feed the chip 3.3V directly from a lab supply using thick and short wires to see if this is the issue.
Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
500ma@3.3V power supply are you sure? According to the post you think that the chip d2wd always reset is due to the power supply can provide enough current? But the hardware book don't say that the esp32 d2wd need so much power and current.Although it's peak current when it work for wifi.I doubt the if the esp32 d2wd @500ma can be said ultra low power chip ?
Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
Do you have any other good suggestion for this issue? 500ma is so crazy that unbeleavable.
Re: why the d2wd always reset auto for nothing?
hi,i use the DC source to supply power for the d2wd, it should be 3.3V@500ma, but the issue is also the same way reset reset and reset,Smartisan wrote:Do you have any other good suggestion for this issue? 500ma is so crazy that unbeleavable.
so maybe it's not the 3.3V power supply cause the problem. I read the message on the print screen it is said the PRO CPU and APP CPU start schedule always... If anything the d2wd chip's bug or the chip is wrong not the power?
I was in trouble in the problem for some time, could you help me solve this?
