and can the function still be called in arduino?

was it adjusted marketing or hes it been disabled bye removing hardware / disabled software?
I want to use it to detect if a magnet moves closer to it and as a sensor for detecting movement overall

I dont get it seems a straightforward enough question no?I am on the forum of the producer and the producer cant give me the specs on his own product? How disappointing

I don't get what you're expecting to get aside from what is in the documentation you just mentioned? As it states, the hall sensor doesn't work properly and as such it's been removed from the documentation. How you want to use it is kinda besides the point, as it doesn't work properly and whatever it does, we do not support it.
