I debugged my code using the WROOM32 board. It works well.
Now I have made my own board and it runs ~ every tenth time. Nine out of ten it won't start.
Power is good. Used 1117 as elsewhere. Filter capacitors are installed.
Perhaps I need to add a capacitor or RC to the EN pin? For hardware power-up reset...
Should the reset (EN) pin have an RC circuit?

Hi IamDikoy,
RC circuit at CHIP_PU pin is indeed recommended. Check the Section "2.2.1 Power-on Sequence" in ESP32 Hardware Design Guidelines.
