Espressif-Matter iOS Application - could not pair a device

Hi,

I tried pairing a device but was unable to.

I was wondering if the app would work with any matter devices (as a matter controller) or esp based ones only?

I was also wondering if the app uses the HomeKit APIs or the pairing is done directly without apple?
