ESP32-MINI-1

Postby HammadRaza12 » Thu Mar 16, 2023 6:38 pm

Hi,

I’ve used the ESP32-MINI-1-N4 module and ESP32-DevKitM-1 16 in one of my projects. I used Arduino IDE for my projects to burn code in ESP32-WROOM-32 without any problem but when I try to burn the code in ESP32-MINI-1-N4 using Arduino IDE it’s not working. I wonder if any one of you encounters the same problem. I want to complete this but Arduino IDE won’t work I need assistance to overcome this problem.

Thanks,

You need to post *much* more information; exact error messages and such.

I checked the board files for arduino and did not see a esp32_devkitM-1 board file but there was a esp32_c3_devkitm-1 json file
So maybe espressif hasn't spun up a board file for that dev kit.

You can edit your boards file (~/.arduino15/packages/esp32/hardware/esp32/2.0.7/boards.txt) (edit for OS/version), perhaps creating a new section for your specific board; i.e. working from a copy of the nearest available board. Some trial and error will be required but you should be able to pin it down, get it working.

If you would post error messages and such, others could help with this.
