UVC/USB Webcam device?

I want to set up an ESP32-2s or ESP32-3s as a webcam device (not host). It looks like libuvc is a library built on top of libusb - if it were working, then I'd be able to do it. Hosting works, but using a ESP32 board as a device does not.

Any idea if/when this could happen? Thank you.

My goal is to make a great security system using OpenCV for facial recognition, but not use wifi to send the data as in https://randomnerdtutorials.com/esp32-c ... duino-ide/

Hi, i don't think espressif is going to reply. They don't i tried. And I don't think this feature is going to come anytime soon.
Did you swtiched to STM32 they have really nice libraries for that.
