Good afternoon,
I have a ESP32-S3-DevKitC-1 kit and the Eclipse version of ESP-IDF.
Some times ago, I managed to debug on this platform using Eclipse and I took some notes.
In my notes, I wrote that I had to execute ESP-IDF 5.0 CMD and then execute the command
openocd –f board/esp32s3-builtin.cfg.
However, after reinstalling Eclipse ESP-IDF on a new computer, I do not manage to execute the ESP-IDP 5.0 CMD anymore.
The file idf_cmd_init.bat is not in the C:\Espressif directory.
I tried to execute the Universal Online Installer 2.18 but the procedure is very long.
The process is stuck on a window saying "Please wait while setup installs ESP-IDF Tools on your computer".
I don't know how much time I have to wait but it seams to be very long.
Best regards,
Thomas TRUILHE<

Hello Thomas,
For some reason, if you're unable to install using an online installer(windows defender etc), please use Espressif-IDE 2.7.0 Windows offline installer
https://dl.espressif.com/dl/idf-install ... -4.4.3.exe
This will install esp-idf, esp-idf tools, espressif-ide and all the required plugins to get started.
Do let me know if you see any challenges with this.
Thanks!
