ESP32-CAM strange power/video streaming issue

I have a few ESP32-CAM modules (Various sources). Programmed via Arduino IDE powered by USB either powered usb hub while programming or using usb "charging" plug. Most devices work fine. A few began to behave oddly without error code. While trying to access the URL:PORT/stream over http... The stream will only start when touching the "assuming smd resistor" on the 'face' of the device below the camera connector. See... attached image:

I am not an electronics expert... can this smd be bypassed? I cannot find clear information of it's purpose. It looks like it is connected to the SDCard 'holder' though.

I don't think anyone can answer this question without looking at the camera's schematic or PCB. But this is odd behaviour. You must contact your supplier if this product is still under warranty.
