BLE MESH- Heartbeat Publication

I am trying to figure out how to setup a heartbeat publication from all my server nodes to my client nodes. do i need to specifically setup a health srv/client model? Can i only do it through a provisioner? I have scanned through the examples provided and none of them seems to show any heartbeat messages example, which is the bread and butter of any reliable network. Do help if anyone has any information whatsoever, thanks!
