ESP32-S3 : External Memory Encryption and Decryption (XTS_AES) unit

after reading the chapter 12 of the ESP32-S3 reference manual, I wonder which type of encryption/decryption
is automatically enabled in the chip ?

For example, is external FLASH encryption/decryption for the program automatically enabled ?
The same question for all the types of accesses please ?
