ESP12F Correct boot mode but not working

Hi,

After adding the resistors mentioned here (viewtopic.php?f=50&t=37491)
and also a TX0 Pullup the boot modes are correct - (1,6) for flashing and (3,6) for normal boot.
My ESP board is programmed with ESPHome which prints wifi status and more in the logs, but when I boot normally
the boot mode gets printed but nothing else is in the logs, and the board doesn't connect to ESPHome through WiFi.

I have now tried everything I've found online and this still doesn't work, I'm totally out of ideas.
