Compiling ESP-AT with Visual Studio Code

Hi All

I need to build the ESP-AT project for my ESP32-S2 so that it uses SPI mode.
I have used Visual Studio Code with the ESP-IDF extension to build some example projects and have cloned the ESP-AT repository, but can it be built and debugged with Visual Studio Code or do I need to use a different method?

If possible with Visual Studio Code how does one go about it?

I'm sorry, we currently have no plans to support ESP-AT project compilation in an IDE.
