Is it normal that not all AT commands work?

Postby uTasker » Wed Oct 19, 2022 10:01 pm

Hi All

I am starting with an ESP32S2 programmed with the FW version:

AT version:2.1.0.0(0b76313 - ESP32S2 - Aug 20 2020 05:57:43)
SDK version:v4.2-dev-2044-gdd3c032
compile time(b5e1674):Aug 21 2020 04:59:57
Bin version:2.1.0(WROOM)

What I find is that a lot of the documented AT command return ERROR when executes:
This includes the AT+CMD? which should return a list of supported commands.

Is this to be expected?

Regards

https://docs.espressif.com/projects/esp ... index.html should be the right document for ESP32-S2 v2.1.0.0, please check it.

btw, AT+CMD? is supported in v2.2.0.0+.
and one more kindly suggestion: could you please consider to use the ESP32-C3 or ESP32-C2 series module instead, that would have more new features and get more maintenance.
