Hi,
Greetings!
We have came across a scenario wherein we have to control power of Smart Power Socket from other device, which has button on it.
We are trying to find a solution based on ESP RainMaker framework.
Any sample application would be of great help.
Please guide.

Dinesh

Re: ESP RainMaker: Power Socket to be controlled from Wireless Button device
Hi,
Currently, the only way to this is using RainMaker Automations, the REST APIs for which can be found here. The support for this will soon be available in the RainMaker iOS app.
Basically, you can set up some rules in cloud backend, such that changes in parameter values of one device can trigger actions on some other device. However, note that the devices need to be connected to the Internet for this to work.

Hi Piyush,
Greetings!
Is there any updates on above to control Power Socket from another Rainmaker Device having buttons on it? or any plans to add it in upcoming versions?
Please comment.
