Arduino IDE BLE Provisioning ESP Rainmaker

Why does arduino ide samples for esp rainmaker using BLE provisioning only work for android devices and not for ios devices since the code works perfectly but then when you use the esp-idf it works for iphone perfectly at least. what is the difference here? Why does the provsioning through ble in arduino doesnt appear in iphone esp rainmaker app but with the esp-idf it does. What is the difference in the code? I have looked everywhere and I have checked both esp-idf samples and arduino samples but I cannt seem to find a difference. Does someone knows about this? Or can give me an idea on where to look. Thanks
