Eclipse/Espressif Plugin broken

Happy New Year!
Except it's not so happy...
When I opened my Eclipse IDE today, I was not able to compile or clean ANY project.

Here is the error when trying to build:
Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'CDT Core Builder' on project 'CPHT_Gemstone_600'.
'int com.espressif.idf.core.build.IDFBuildConfiguration.watchProcess(java.lang.Process, org.eclipse.cdt.core.IConsoleParser[])'

And when trying to clean:
Errors running builder 'CDT Core Builder' on project 'CPHT_Gemstone_600'.
'int com.espressif.idf.core.build.IDFBuildConfiguration.watchProcess(java.lang.Process, org.eclipse.cdt.core.resources.IConsole)'
Errors running builder 'CDT Core Builder' on project 'CPHT_Gemstone_600'.
'int com.espressif.idf.core.build.IDFBuildConfiguration.watchProcess(java.lang.Process, org.eclipse.cdt.core.resources.IConsole)'

Yes, it comes twice!

I have tried several projects, for various targets. Same errors.

I have tried reinstalling ESP-IDF, tools, plugin... No cigar.

Please help!
I need to get work done.

Hello,

Looks like you're using the latest Eclipse version Eclipse 2022-12 which is not yet supported by the plugin. I would recommend using the Eclipse 2022-09 version which is more stable and support the IDF Eclipse plugin

You can find 2022-09 releases here https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packa ... /2022-09/r

https://github.com/espressif/idf-eclips ... issues/654

Thanks!

Thank you, that kinda worked.
I can create new Espressif IDF projects and compile.
But all my old projects have lost their "Espressif IDF" project identity, processor type e.t.c., so I still cannot compile those. :(

Scratch that.
For some odd reason, this morning, when I was going to create new projects to contain my old ones that were broken, they suddenly had gotten back to "normal" and showed the project name and processor type at the upper left, as usual.
I had not restarted my machine, Eclipse or made any updates.
Weird.
But, at least it works! YAY!
