Eclipse/Windows/ESP32-C3 Unresolved Inclusions

Sorry if this looks like spam. I didn't realize there was an IDE sub-forum.

I am on Windows 10 Eclipse Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers (includes Incubating components) Version: 2021-03 (4.19.0) Build id: 20210312-0638 (downloaded from Espressif)

When compiling blink or hello_world I usually end up with unresolved includes. The files compile perfectly well but the Eclipse indexer doesn't find them. In the olden days I'd add the includes to the search path under project properties but that option no longer exists.

Sometimes the unresolved inclusions just disappear but then they come back after a while.

I've tried all the standard fixes like cleaning the project, re-indexing, freshening, etc..

What I have noticed is that when I ask to re-index, I don't see a "progress" notification as I would expect. It's almost like there is no indexing.

Of course, the thing with Eclipse is that there are a million possible options and configurations so it might be something simple.
