problems with IDE after installing

Hi,

I've just downloaded the installer: esp-idf-tools-setup-espressif-ide-3.1.0-with-esp-idf-5.3.1.exe
I've installed with the default options.

Now I'd like to setup a simple project
I've selected C managed build.

In the toolchain entry I see: --Other toolchain --
I assume something configured wrong.
What to do?

Hello,

Please select "File > New > Espressif IDF Project" and choose a template to get started with the esp-idf projects.
