windows 10 Vs code esp-idf extension select port, nothing happen

Hi there,
on Vscode left bottom, clicking "plug" to select port, nothing happens, there is no pop-up menu to let me selecting port.
windows 10,
(1) esp-idf extension , express setup ( version 1.5 )
(2) the board can be seen plugged in com3
