How to make custom wake words?

Postby realrobotshk » Mon Feb 21, 2022 6:02 am

This is a great bit of hardware/software but from what I've seen the documentation is atrocious.

I've got a Korvo 1.1 and want to use it as a basis of a new product, but aside from the wake_word_detection example, none of the examples work for my board. So I've flashed the wake_word_detection example, but the documentation doesn't go any further than explaining how to flash it. How do I change the wake word? How to I make new words?

What am I supposed to do next since none of the examples are designed to work on my board?

Hello~ thanks for trying out our ESP32-Korvo.

Here's the mapping table of esp-skainet examples and supported HW boards: https://github.com/espressif/esp-skaine ... r/examples
[just a small error that english speech commands recognition (multinet) is not supported on ESP32-Korvo] Pls ignore it there.

For now we only support customization of speech commands. Wake word customization can follow the flow here: https://github.com/espressif/esp-sr/blo ... ization.md. We'd need your corpus to do training and implementation.

Wake word that have already been supported can be seen here:https://github.com/espressif/esp-sr/tre ... enet_model (two CN words and two EN words)

Thank you for your help, might I suggest removing the error in https://github.com/espressif/esp-skaine ... r/examples that suggests the ESP32 Korvo can understand English? Since I bought the device based on that error and it's pretty useless to me if it can't do that.
