I have developed a custom Matter device, and I would like to understand the requirements for getting it certified. Specifically, I am interested in knowing if there is a free plan available for testing my custom device, or if I need to purchase a membership to have my device certified as a Matter-compliant device.
For my custom device, I am also seeking guidance on the following:
Vendor ID (VID) and Product ID (PID):
Could you please clarify which VID and PID I should use for my custom device? I understand that these IDs are crucial for identifying the device within the Matter ecosystem, but I am unsure how to obtain them for a custom device.
Device Attestation Certificates (DAC):
Where can I obtain the DAC certificates for my custom device? If these certificates need to be created specifically for my device, please provide guidance on the process for generating them.
