Can 2 ESP-ADF releases be installed at the same time in ESP IDF 5.1.2 ?

Hello, I am VS Code ESP IDF user and installed esp-adf-v2.6 following the instructions given on GitHub. Then I've Iearned about esp-adf-master and installed it without uninstalling the previous version esp-adf-v2.6.
Would this cause errors when developing a project ?
If it's necessary to uninstall the previous version, what would be the right way to do it ?

It does not matter, I have deleted the oldest version esp-adf-v2.6 because it does not make sense to keep both versions.
